Welcome to The Tech Noob
An introduction to this blog and what you can expect to find here. Join me on a journey through software engineering, side projects, and continuous learning.
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to The Tech Noob! I'm excited to finally launch this blog and start sharing my journey as a software engineer.
What This Blog Is About
This blog is my personal space to document:
- Side projects - The things I build for fun, learning, or to solve problems I encounter
- Work insights - Lessons learned from real-world software engineering challenges (without revealing any proprietary info, of course)
- Technical deep-dives - Explorations of technologies, patterns, and practices that catch my interest
- Problem-solving journeys - Those tricky bugs and how I solved them
Why "The Tech Noob"?
The name might seem counterintuitive for someone trying to showcase their engineering skills, but it's intentional. In software engineering, there's always something new to learn. The moment you think you know everything is the moment you stop growing.
Being a "noob" means:
- Approaching problems with curiosity rather than assumptions
- Being willing to ask questions and learn
- Staying humble while continuously improving
What to Expect
Each post will aim to be practical and actionable. I want to create content that would have saved past-me hours of debugging or research so that others in the developer community can take advantage of it.
